Try your app

Choose (or drop here) the folder of an app you're writing, with its app.json and main.lua. It's installed on this unidex the same way the store installs it; open it from Apps on the screen. Changed something? Choose the folder again: the new version replaces the old and keeps its data. New to apps? Start with Make an app.

What works here

Timetable, Notes (sample notes to read), Pet, Badge, Dex, Chooser, the games, Settings and Apps run the same code as the device. What needs hardware doesn't: there's no WiFi, microphone, radio or USB here, so voice notes, Dex scans, Open on phone and Meet say they aren't available. The screen also changes instantly, where real e-ink takes a moment; the flash option imitates a full refresh.
