Setup

The WiFi networks your device joins, and the keys for voice notes.

What you type here goes over USB to your device and nowhere else. This page can't reach the internet. Privacy (draft)

Plug the device in and press one of its buttons to wake it, then Connect.

WiFi & keys

Leave a password or key blank to keep the one that's saved. The Test buttons run on the device itself, over its own WiFi.

You can save up to five. The device joins whichever is in range, starting with the one that worked last time.

Make one at platform.openai.com/api-keys. Billing has to be turned on. Whisper costs about $0.006 a minute.

Push each note to a GitHub repo Repo (owner/name, can be private)

Make a fine-grained token for just that repo, with Contents set to Read and write.

Microphone

Records two seconds and shows how loud it was. Talk while it listens.

Your notes

Notes are kept on the SD card as Markdown.

Remove everything

Clears the WiFi, keys, GitHub token and Notes settings from the device. Your notes stay on the card. Install also wipes these settings, and Update keeps them.
